I had a preconceived notion that all things having to do with medicine are, by nature, extremely unpleasant. I assumed that there was no way that I’d have anything resembling a pleasant, spa-like experience during my first visit to a medical spa.

I found, however, that even though the procedure that Dr. Vulich performed involved a laser and it was being aimed at my face, I wasn’t concerned before or during the procedure. This surprised me, because I’m the type of person that can get bent out of shape before brushing with an electric toothbrush. Much of how I felt can surely be attributed to the relaxing atmosphere and confidence instilled by my learning that Dr. Vulich is an experienced Emergency Room Physician with very specialized training who uses the latest technology to provide quite painless and effective solutions to a broad variety of clientele.

I could not have asked to be in better hands! At no point did Dr. Vulich proceed without talking me through the details of the procedure, which is something that is very important to me. She took every precaution and worked with utmost precision to remove what was a very noticeable red and purple spider vein cluster below my right eye using only a few extremely brief laser pulses. The procedure itself took only minutes and I went to dinner immediately after my “surgery”. Surprisingly, no one even noticed that I had just been lasered!

I heard from Refine later in the week. They were checking on me to make sure that I was doing all right - and I was. The spot was noticeably reduced and would eventually fade completely during the following week. I look forward to my next treatment at the Spa - it’s been quite a while since I’ve had such a beneficial and effortless medical experience while feeling so taken care of, both before, during and after the procedure.
